Privacy policy
Last updated 29 October 2026Clark is operated by Techwiz LLC ("Techwiz", "we", "us"), a New Mexico limited liability company, 500 4th St NW Ste 102, Albuquerque, NM 87102, United States. Clark is a trading name of Techwiz LLC. Clark is built and run by the Weblyfe team. This policy covers this website, the Clark dashboard at dash.getclark.app and the Clark service itself. It explains what we collect, why, where it is kept, and the rights you have, including the GDPR rights we honor for customers in the EU and EEA. Questions: seyed@weblyfe.nl.
Who decides what happens to your data
For your account, your billing and this website, Techwiz is the controller. For the business content your Clark handles for you (your emails, documents, calendars and the messages of the people you work with), you decide what Clark does, and we process that content on your behalf. A data processing agreement is available on request.
What we collect
- Account data. Name, email address and company name when you sign up or book a call. When you log in to the dashboard we record the IP address and browser to keep your account secure.
- Business details. What you tell us about your business during onboarding, so your Clark knows how you work.
- Waitlist and lead data. Name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, marketing consent, referral source, and campaign parameters when you join the waitlist or submit a lead form.
- Payment data. Handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Connected tools. When you connect Google, Microsoft, Shopify or other apps, the connection runs through Composio or through our own integration. We store the access tokens encrypted and use them only so your Clark can do the work you asked for. Ending your subscription revokes that access.
- Shopify. If you connect a Shopify store, Clark reads your products and your orders so it can answer your questions about the store, and it can change a product’s title, status or tags when you ask it to. From orders it reads the order id, the order number, the date, the financial status and the total. It does not read your customers’ names, addresses, email addresses or phone numbers, and it does not request permission to. Order data is not stored: it is read when you ask a question and used to answer it. The only thing kept is a proposed product change awaiting your confirmation, which expires after fifteen minutes.
- Your conversations with Clark. You can talk to Clark on Telegram, on WhatsApp and in the chat in your dashboard. Telegram messages pass through Telegram to your Clark's server. WhatsApp messages that go through the numbers we provide are stored in our dashboard database, with the sender's phone number, profile name and any media. Dashboard chat messages are stored in our dashboard database. While Clark writes a reply in the dashboard, the reply travels through our chat relay on Cloudflare, which keeps the conversation text for up to 24 hours.
- Voice. When you speak to Clark in the dashboard, the audio is sent to a speech-to-text provider to turn it into text. We do not keep the recording; we keep usage counts such as minutes. Voice notes sent on WhatsApp are kept like other WhatsApp media.
- Clark's email inbox. Your Clark can have its own email address. Email sent to it is received through Resend and stored in our dashboard database.
- Work content. The content Clark processes on your behalf (emails, documents, conversations), its notes and its memory are processed on your own isolated server and stored there.
- Memory overview. So you can see what your Clark knows, the dashboard keeps a copy of its memory map: the names of the people, companies and topics it knows about, and how they connect.
- Service health and quality. Your Clark reports technical health and usage counts to the dashboard; phone numbers in these reports are hashed. Once a day it also writes a short self-review of its own work in plain text. Email addresses, links, phone numbers and secrets are removed before it is stored, but it can describe the work in general terms. We use these reports to find and fix problems across all Clarks.
- Site analytics. Page metrics on this website via Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless, no consent needed), Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel, which both load only after you allow them on the cookie banner. We use them to see what content works and whether our Facebook and Instagram ads bring people who watch our video and book a call; we do not sell or combine this with your account data. The dashboard has no analytics. Details and your controls are in the cookie policy.
How AI processing works
Clark is powered by AI models from third parties. To answer a message or do a task, your Clark sends the content it needs (the message, the conversation so far, and any file or image involved) to the model provider set up for your Clark. Most Clarks use models reached through OpenRouter, such as models from DeepSeek, Z.ai and Xiaomi. If you connect your own ChatGPT or Claude subscription, your Clark uses OpenAI or Anthropic directly under that subscription. Images you send on WhatsApp are described, and spoken replies are generated, through OpenRouter. Speech-to-text runs through Groq or OpenAI, and the dashboard's live voice calls connect your browser to OpenAI.
Each provider processes this content to produce the answer, under its own terms. We do not use your data to train models, and we do not sell it.
Why we process it
To run your Clark (performance of our contract), to bill you (contract), to keep the service secure, find faults and improve it (legitimate interest), and to answer you when you contact us. With your explicit consent, we send launch and product emails. You can withdraw that consent through the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We do not sell personal data. We do not use your company data to train models for anyone else.
Where it lives
- Your Clark. Each customer's Clark runs on its own isolated server at Hetzner in Germany or Finland. Nothing is shared between companies.
- The dashboard. Our dashboard database runs on Supabase in the United States (Virginia), and the dashboard is served by Vercel from the United States.
- WAI. If you use WAI, our WhatsApp inbox, its data is kept in a separate database on Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt).
- Website leads. Lead records from this website are stored in our website database on Supabase in the United States and mirrored to Brevo for consented email and to Notion for sales follow-up.
- Chat relay and tunnels. Live dashboard chat and the browser terminal we use to support your Clark travel through Cloudflare's global network.
Access tokens for your connected apps are encrypted at rest. Messages Clark sends to other people are checked against the written mandate you gave it, or wait for your approval. Only our team can reach the servers, and logins and admin access to the dashboard are logged. More on this on our security page.
International transfers
Techwiz LLC is a US company and the service is operated from the United States. Your Clark's server is in the EU, but our dashboard database and most of our processors are in the United States, and AI model providers may process content in other countries. Where we transfer personal data of EU or EEA residents outside the EEA, we do so under standard contractual clauses or another lawful safeguard. A data processing agreement with standard contractual clauses is available on request at seyed@weblyfe.nl.

Retention
- While you are subscribed, we keep your data to run your Clark.
- When your subscription ends, your Clark's server is deleted at the end of the paid period. We take a snapshot first, and it is deleted automatically after 30 days. Access to your connected apps is revoked, and WhatsApp messages and your Clark's email are deleted. We may also keep an offline archive of your Clark so it can be restored if you come back; we delete it when you ask. Your dashboard account and its history stay until you ask us to delete your account.
- When you ask us to delete your account, we cancel billing, revoke your connections, delete your server and its snapshots, and delete your account data. We keep invoices and cancellation records where tax law requires them, with your login details removed.
- Fixed periods. Live chat copies in our chat relay: up to 24 hours. WhatsApp media files: 30 days. Error logs: 90 days. Service health counts and email delivery logs: 400 days.
- Prospect and waitlist data is retained for up to 12 months after the last interaction, or until you withdraw consent or request deletion. We propagate unsubscribe and deletion requests to Payload, Brevo and Notion where applicable.
You can request earlier deletion at any time.
SMS and messaging data
Clark Assistant Notifications is a customer-care messaging program operated by Techwiz LLC for its own Clark customers. When you choose to receive SMS or WhatsApp messages during onboarding, we collect your phone number and record your consent, its timestamp, the disclosure wording, and the channels you agreed to. We process your messages and delivery information to provide the service and honor opt-out requests.
We use this information for setup and account notifications, summaries of work you requested, approval requests, and replies to your questions. This program does not send advertisements, affiliate promotions, or messages to third-party leads. Its consent covers messages to you about your own Clark service, not messages to your customers or contacts.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS or WhatsApp opt-in records, or messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Providers such as Twilio and Meta process the information needed to deliver messages on our behalf; this does not give them permission to use it for their own marketing. This restriction applies regardless of the other data-sharing descriptions in this policy.
Message frequency varies with your own use. Clark answers when you write to it, so an active customer can receive up to 2,000 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Messaging consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing Clark. See the messaging program in our terms of service.
Reply STOP to stop messages or HELP for help. You can also contact seyed@weblyfe.nl to withdraw consent or ask about your messaging data. We retain messaging data under the Retention section above and use opt-out records to honor your request to stop.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, and objection. You can download a copy of your account data from the settings in your dashboard. For anything else, mail seyed@weblyfe.nl and we respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or EEA, you can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children
Clark is a service for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
When this policy changes materially, we tell active customers by email before it takes effect.
